DES MOINES, Iowa - The Texas Stars, American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL's Dallas Stars, defeated the Iowa Wild 3-2 in a shootout on Saturday at Wells Fargo Arena, extending their road winning streak to nine games. The Stars continued their strong special teams play as Antonio Stranges scored the game's first goal on the power play at 13:40 of the first period. Regina, Sask. - Julian Maze scored the shootout winner, and Kelton Pyne made two miraculous saves in overtime, leading the Pats to a 3-2 shootout victory over the Prince Albert Raiders on Saturday at the Brandt Centre. Wolves Win in Shootout on Firefighter Appreciation Night

Watertown, NY - Game number six of regular season meetings between the Wolves and Danbury Hat Tricks visited the Watertown Arena on Friday for the first half of a home and home series. All three of the previous games played in Watertown this season all went to overtime with one ending in a shootout.
