December 8, 2024 - FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - Ryan Nolan scored twice and added an assist to lead the Fayetteville Marksmen to a 4-3 victory, and three-game weekend sweep of the Quad City Storm at the Crown Coliseum Sunday.
After back-to-back starts by Ryan Kenny, Mason Beaupit took to the crease for Fayetteville, looking to help his team complete the weekend sweep of Quad City, and the goaltender stopped all 10 shots against through 20 minutes of play. December 7, 2024 - FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - Dalton Hunter's two-goal night, including a final-minute, game-winning goal stunned the Quad City Storm as the Fayetteville Fatbacks debuted with a 4-3 win on Rebrand Night at the Crown Coliseum Saturday.
For the second-straight night, Quad City found the back of the net first, this time capitalizing on a powerplay opportunity at 6:41. Despite peppering the Storm net with 18 shots through the first period, Quad City headed into the second period with a 1-0 lead thanks to a go-ahead marker with just 10 seconds left in the frame. December 6, 2024 - FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - The Fayetteville Marksmen, proud members of the SPHL, are pleased to announce the signing of Elias Thompson to a PTO Friday.
Thompson, 25, has played in 10 games for the FPHL's Baton Rouge Zydeco this season, and has laced up for 99 FPHL games in his career.
The 6-foot, 181-pound forward has recorded three goals and seven points and logged 274 penalty minutes with the Delaware Thunder, Motor City Rockers and Zydeco.
